Michael Julian Berz
My body of work reflects my ability to see presence – including my other passion freefrom dance and healing work – it is the place HERE and NOW – no worries - no struggles – just observing and perceiving what is – I perceive others and my environment totally.
When I take portraits of friends – people - dancers - healers it is a healing session – seeing where there are limitations that we made up and bought to not be with our bodies and our wholeness as one. Via questions we find out where the distractions lie and we find the space where there is the presence of the total being.
So pictures are never just a picture - a portrait etc. they are a byproduct of exploration of the self that has been covered in layers of judgment (rejection of the true self being)
